When you’re not sure what to do next… move.
(but not how you think)

Motion is lotion.

It’s a phrase my mom’s doctor told her recently after she shared about some pain in her feet.

She’s 64, plays pickleball almost daily, walks 20,000 steps a day, and somehow keeps up with six grandkids like it’s nothing. She's an inspiring example of vitality. And his advice to her?

Keep moving.

Integrate extra care strategies to support your feet, and keep moving.

Movement keeps things fluid — in the joints, yes — but also in the mind, the heart, and the spirit.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Because it doesn’t just apply to physical pain.

It applies to the kind of life pain many of us are holding right now in one way or another — in the middle of unknowns, transition, sadness, or overwhelm.

If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, this is your permission to soften. And move.

Not fast. Not forcefully. Just…steadily. Gently. With support. And maybe with a little fun.

Maybe it’s one slow walk around the block.
Maybe it’s finally replying to that one email.
Maybe it’s clearing the clutter in one corner of your room.
Maybe it’s asking for help. Saying, “I’m at my edge.”
Maybe it's flipping on the music after dinner and having a dance party.

Movement doesn’t have to be big to be powerful. It just has to continue.

When you pause for too long in fear or indecision, things stagnate — in the body, in your life, in your momentum. And it’s easy to spiral into the belief that nothing will change.

But motion? Motion reminds you that you're alive. That you're capable. That you're in this — fully.

So here’s your reminder this week:

👉 Keep moving. With kindness.
👉 Move your body in a way that reflects how you want to feel.
👉 Move one piece of your life into a little more alignment.
👉 Move toward your people. Toward care. Toward joy.
👉 And when it all feels too heavy to move alone — lean on someone.

We’re walking with you. Step by step.
